I’ve been giving a few talks recently on the subject of writing from experience. I was a speaker participating in the Essex Book Festival (27th February – 2nd April), and on 23rd April I spoke in Westbourne Library as part of the Bournemouth Festival of Words (21st – 27th April). Quite a few of my books were sold. On Thursday 3rd May I’m off to Lymington in Hampshire to give a lecture for U3A (The University of the Third Age). I talk about how I blend experiences and imagination to produce ideas, and how I use facts to create fiction.
